How to install a mac os operating system in a fully formatted powerbook g4?

As far as my knowledge, macbooks don't ship with the MAC OS X CD/DVD. The Mac OSes are pre-installed in macbooks. Your best bet would be to go to an official Apple store & seek professional help. You can never be sure of the content of the downloaded file.
