Please help with wordplay?

Can someone give me a few books or a website on how to widen vocabulary and how to use words better, im getting tired of using the same words everyday and even though i read nothing seems to help, also i write songs so this whole not having a lot of words combined with writers block will soon be the death of my career and me, thanks.
