How do i fix a mtb that is always 1 gear higher than should be.PLEASE HELP!!!!!DETAILS!!!!!!!!?

either tighten or loosen (depends on how the the derailleur is sprung) either the front or rear (depends which gear is having the issue) the derailleur cable
