Savannah Monitor caging Question?

ok well i want to keep the sav in my room if i do get one but the most space i can give him is 6ft by 3ft so im woundering if i can build a smaller upper level with like a 4ftby 3ft hidebox so im woundering if thier will be enought space if i did a 6ft by 3ft mine level with a 4ft by 3ft hide box on the 2 level also would a sav be smart enough to actualy use a ramp.
